Mowing packages include weekly mowing, edging, trimming and removing clippings from your driveway, sidewalks and patios. When finished, your lawn will have a clean, groomed look. We will always mow your lawn on the same day of the week unless weather prevents us or we notify you of a change. Mowing starts early spring and continues until mid fall—approximately 34 mows a season. Note: If you also select our pruning option, we will prune springtime blooming plants on a weekly basis.

Lawn fertilization includes four seasonal applications (early spring, late spring, summer and fall). The last application prepares your lawn for winter dormancy and a quick startup the following spring. Tree and shrub fertilization will be conducted two times per year (spring and fall) to promote healthy and vibrant growth.

Aeration will be conducted two times per year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Aeration plugs bring microorganisms back into the soil, helping to rotate ground nutrients. Dethatching will be conducted once during springtime. This power-raking process removes excess dead grass from root crown, allowing water and nutrient penetration to the root zone.

Irrigation Turn On will be conducted early spring, weather permitting and includes system turn-on, comprehensive audit of all stations, and timer reprogramming for all sprinkler and drip systems. If major repairs are required, such as replacing component parts or patching leaks, customer will be notified to obtain verbal approval for repairs.

Irrigation Turn Off will be conducted late fall, weather permitting and includes system turn-off, opening of all manual drains, bleeding of all test cocks, and winterizing of entire system.

Weeding & Dead Heading will be conducted bi-weekly from spring to fall, and will include manual weeding and/or spraying, depending on size and intensity of weeds. We will also remove all dead flowers and plant material. There are approximately 17 weedings in a season.

Spring Manicure will be conducted once in the spring and will include pruning, blowing, raking, hauling of leaves, weeding, dead heading, trash pickup and ground-keeper services. All trash, leaves, and debris will be blown from all planters & hardscape, and hauled away. All plants and trees up to 15 feet in height will receive pruning and balance as needed. We create wells around smaller trees in the lawn areas to maintain a reservoir for increased water availability, and to ensure that no damage is done to the tree when lawn is trimmed. Weeds will either be hand pulled or controlled by alternate means depending on size and intensity of weeds.

Midseason Pruning will be conducted once between spring and fall, although springtime blooming plants will be pruned regularly during the entire mowing cycle. Pruning will be performed on plants up to 15 feet above the ground. Pruning of trees more than 15 feet above the ground can be requested for an additional fee. Trees and shrubs will be continuously monitored for disease and pest problems. Fall pruning will be conducted one time in late fall.

Fall Leaf Clean Up will be conducted twice, once mid fall and once late fall. This service includes blowing, raking and hauling away of all leaves which helps eliminate hibernation of pests in winter.

Start Up will be conducted in early spring and includes power washing, filling and water sterilization. Shut down will be conducted in late fall and includes draining and winterization that will protect pump(s) and other equipment from damage.

Pond Maintenance will be conducted weekly from spring to fall. Our package includes skimming of leaves and debris, chemical algae treatment and de-foaming to maintain clear, clean water.
